America is aging, and our region is no exception.
The U.S. is quickly approaching what experts call a crisis on aging. Demographics project a significant increase in the senior population—along with an increase in the demand for our services. This population is living longer with fewer resources: One in two older adults living alone cannot afford basic needs.
The need for Meals on Wheels of Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky to expand has never been greater.
Our essential, wrap-around services provide critical support to our elderly loved ones, friends and community members. They allow them to age at home, where they want to be, with independence and dignity.

We deliver more than a meal.
Meals on Wheels goes beyond meal delivery and distribution to keep seniors connected and protected. Our complete offering of services function as remedies and responses to hunger, malnutrition, loneliness and social isolation—all of which are detrimental to the health and well-being of seniors.
- Our home-delivered meals service brings nutritious food to homebound seniors throughout 13 counties
- We partner with 20+ senior centers and senior living communities to deliver food for congregate meals in group settings
- Transportation services ensure older adults reach medical appointments, grocery stores and senior centers for meals and social connections
- Our own Over-the-Rhine Senior Center offers a warm and welcoming environment and is the only remaining senior center in downtown Cincinnati
- Our social and protective services team ensures seniors' needs are met while supporting their independence and protecting their dignity
- Because pets provide overwhelmingly positive impact on older adults' well-being, our pet support program delivers nutritious food to clients' best friends
- Health and wellness programs and social connection programs deliver meaningful engagement opportunities like digital literacy training, senior-focused fitness and social outings
You can help us deliver. We are driving into a future where we can improve the quality of life for older adults, caregivers and families throughout our region.
