PRESS RELEASE: Three New Members Appointed to the Board of Directors

CINCINNATI—One of the region’s largest senior service providers, Meals on Wheels of Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky, has appointed new members to its Board of Directors: Mike Bohmer, Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor at Wealth Enhancement Cincinnati; Trisha Kassner, CPA/Senior Director of Business Development at Vaco by Highspring; and Aaron Seurkamp, President of Protection & Retirement Division of Protective Life Corporation. They began their term Jan. 1, 2026.

Together, these new members provide a deep well of professional expertise and dedication to community services. They have volunteered for and served on the boards of other prominent area organizations, in addition to their past involvement with Meals on Wheels of Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky.

Last October, Meals on Wheels broke ground on new property in Columbia Township. The building will serve as a new headquarters and meals production center; occupancy is expected in late 2026. It is the centerpiece of the Driving Into The Future Campaign, which has raised $25 million towards its goal of $30 million.

Mr. Bohmer, Ms. Kassner and Mr. Seurkamp join an existing Board of 17 members. Mary Wagner serves as Board Chair and Andy Sathe serves as Vice-Chair.

About Mike Bohmer

Mr. Bohmer is a Cincinnati native and graduated from Moeller High School and the University of Notre Dame, with a degree in economics. He began his career in wealth management in 1996 and works with families, non-profit groups and small business for Wealth Enhancement Group. Mr. Bohmer serves on the Board of Trustees at The Summit Country Day School, where he is Chair of the Missions and Hallmarks Committee. He resides in Hyde Park with his wife, Rebecca, and their three children, Danny, Vivi and Quinn. Mike enjoys being active outside, cooking and travelling with his family.

About Trisha Kassner, CPA

Ms. Kassner is Senior Director of Business Development at Vaco by Highspring, where she partners with organizations to strengthen finance and accounting functions and build scalable, sustainable operations. With a background spanning Big 4 public accounting, Fortune 200 corporate accounting, advisory and executive-level strategy, Trisha brings deep expertise in financial governance, scalability and organizational sustainability. Trisha holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Cincinnati and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. She resides in Loveland with her husband and two daughters and enjoys spending time with family, playing volleyball and giving back through community service. She is proud to support this organization’s mission of delivering nourishment, independence and dignity to seniors throughout the region.

About Aaron Seurkamp

Mr. Seurkamp is Senior Vice President and President, Protection & Retirement Division for Protective Life Corporation. His responsibilities include the life insurance, annuity, executive benefits and employee benefits business lines where he oversees product development, distribution and operations. He also directs the management of Concourse Distributors, a wholly owned subsidiary of Protective. Since joining Protective in 2004, Seurkamp has served in various leadership positions for both the life and annuity product lines, including Protective’s Chief Distribution Officer for Life and Annuity. In addition to his work at Protective, Seurkamp is a member of the life insurance committee for LIMRA, a member of the ACLI Annuities Committee and a member of the President’s Advisory Council for The American College of Financial Services. He is also active in the community serving on the board of directors for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul - Cincinnati. Seurkamp earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Xavier University. He has also achieved the executive scholar designation with a concentration in finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
