Our third annual day of giving, Much More Than a Gift Day, takes place on Wednesday, Oct. 28 this year! Thanks to a generous group of sponsors, all gifts made on this day will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $30,000. Read more about this day's impact below.
Who benefits from Much More Than a Gift Day?
The simplest answer: the seniors we serve every day.
Every gift made to our organization helps to cover the cost of operations and programs designed to improve seniors' lives. Our services work to remedy the negative impacts of social isolation and hunger affecting our older community members.
With nutrition, connection and protection, our programs offer proven solutions that enable seniors to age in the comfort of their own home with independence and dignity.
As a nonprofit organization, we rely on support from a variety of funding sources. (You can read more about those sources in our FAQs.) One of our most impactful groups fueling our mission is individual community members. Whether they believe in the services we provide, have been impacted by them through friends or loved ones, or simply want to make a gift to valuable organizations, their gift creates real impact.
Much More Than a Gift Day provides a heartful opportunity to amplify the story of our mission and drive support for our older neighbors—100 percent of giving stays within our region.
