The Meals on Wheels annual Bust-a-Crust Thanksgiving pie fundraiser supports our mission to provide seniors with essential services. Our generous community of volunteers, corporate partners and partnering organizations comes together in the spirit of Thanksgiving to drive meaningful impact. Together, we ensure everyone has a fulfilling holiday.
All proceeds from pie sales and sponsorships directly benefit the essential services we provide to seniors and older adults. Whether you sponsor, order or make a gift, you help us drive our mission to keep seniors healthy, fed and safe—during the holiday season and all year long!
The 2025 Bust-a-Crust fundraiser is presented by Sara Lee and features three of their favorite frozen pie flavors: pecan, apple and pumpkin. Sponsorships at every level include a variety of individual, 10-in. pies. Bulk pie orders start with a 12-pie minimum. Bust-a-Crust serves up an ideal way to combine philanthropy with showing your gratitude for your teams, clients and customers ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday!

HOW BUST-A-CRUST WORKS
ORDERS PLACED
We will collect your order details based on your sponsorship level, or you can place a bulk order with us online (minimum of 12 pies per order). All pie orders must be placed by Nov. 1, 2025.
SLICES PREPPED
Before we package up the pies, Girl Scouts of Western Ohio troops help us slice pies to give to seniors. Each of our clients who receives home-delivered meals will receive a slice with their weekly meal delivery. We will also send pies to our senior center partners to serve during group meals for Thanksgiving.
BOXES ASSEMBLED
The Meals on Wheels team and dozens of generous volunteers from the community will gather at Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church the Saturday before Thanksgiving to assemble thousands of pie boxes. We will unpack pies, build the pie boxes and prep them for transport and delivery.
PIES DELIVERED
We will keep the pies in cool storage over the weekend and deliver them directly to you on Nov. 24, 25 or 26, right before Thanksgiving.
